【滋賀】かんぽの宿(簡保之宿) 彦根 (上)－晚餐和早餐，郵局的旅館好厲害Kanpo no Yado Hikone, a hotel operated by the post office with fantastic meals
這次一反常態，要從旅館的餐食先介紹起，因為太優秀，更別說無敵(琵琶)湖景近在眼前。
Different from the past, I want to introduce the meal first because it was that fabulous and great (Biwa) lake view was just in front of you.
｜怎麼會找到簡保之宿？ Why Kanpo no Yado?
注意到它是因為在日本第一大訂房網站jalan上晚餐的高分、價格對單身旅客的友善。查了官網發現令人(至少我)驚訝的事實：它是郵局經營的！
I noticed it from high rating at Jalan, the largest hotel booking website in Japan, and friendly prices to single travelers. But I found a surprised fact after checking the official website: It is operated by Japan Post!
忍不住想到教師會館、國軍英雄館、林務局青年活動中心這些公家經營的住宿！
好奇心讓我更想住看看了！
So curious that I must have a stay!
｜晚餐吃什麼？Dinner
晚餐餐廳琵琶。Restaurant Biwa, an in-house dining hall.
若碰上好天氣就太完美了。
Perfect if there was good weather.
菜單。預訂的是近江牛三昧方案，到滋賀縣不吃近江牛太可惜；在京阪神吃，價格可就要翻好幾翻。
Menu. I booked Omi wagyu beef full course in advance. It is a big pity if you miss famous Omi beef when visiting Shiga County. You would pay a lot more if you want to have them in Kyoto, Osaka or Kobe.
桌上所有的飲料：生啤、紅酒、烏龍茶，都含在套餐裡不另付費(剛好訂到這樣的專案)，公家好大方。
All drinks on the table, beer, red wine, Oolong tea, were inclusive of my package without extra fees. Generous post office!
[飲酒過量傷身更傷財，酒駕不是人]
紅蒟蒻滷近江牛筋、近江牛握壽司、小菜組合，這竟然是國軍英雄館(誤)的前菜！
Appetizer: braised devil’s tongue and Omi beef tendon, raw Omi beef sushi and a petit set.

公家沒有穿著和服的仲居讓客人茶來伸手飯來張口，烤肉、煮壽喜燒、盛飯添茶都要自己動手，換來這麼高級的食材，我覺得很可以！這不是我吃過最好的溫泉旅館晚餐，但同樣的價格帶(單人住宿含早晚餐兩萬日圓上下)，C/P值應該無敵了。
This was not the best dinner I had in a Onsen Ryokan, Japanese hot spring hotel. But I think it is hard find a better one with similar price(about 20,000 JPY including wagyu beef full course dinner, buffet breakfast and a huge lake-view Japanese room for one person per night).
米也是當地的近江米，直火煮出酥脆漂亮的鍋粑。
Local Omi rice with crispy bottoms as cooked over the flame rather than by electronics.
最感動的是，當天停了一下午(至少三小時)電，完全不影響出菜！
On the dinner meal, you wouldn’t find out that the power went off for at least 3 hours in the afternoon!
｜早餐吃什麼？Breakfast
早餐是自助式吃到飽，在另一間餐廳，一樣面湖。
Another buffet restaurant for breakfast with lake view.
公家無障礙做得非常好，全館沒有門檻，還準備這樣的小堆車，方便拄拐杖的客人單手取餐。
Not only perfectly barrier-free in the entire hotel, but offering tray strollers for guests who have to walk with a crutch.
我比較晚來吃，沒拍到菜滿滿的漂亮餐檯，但該有的都沒少，每樣也都很可口。
Various Japanese dishes and drinks though I came too late to take a picture with all plates full of food. All delicious.
開始對這個系列的旅館有興趣了！全日本從北到南共51間。
Became interested in the brand! 51 hotels in total from Hokkaido to South Kyushu, Japan.
路癡到達法 Get there as a no-brainer：
搭乘JR東海道本線(琵琶湖線)至彥根駅，出剪票口(在二樓)往東出口走，到一樓找到「近江トラベル事務所」，不要走進去，在門口搭旅館接駁車(免預約，免費)。最新發車時刻請自己看官網。
Take a JR train to Hikone Station (via Tokaido Line/Biwako Line), walk/escalate downstairs to the 1st floor and find “Omi Travel Office”, and a free shuttle bus will wait outside. Check the latest schedule on the official website.
