【紐約】Eataly NYC Flatiron，好逛好吃的高檔義大利食材舖

在住處附近亂逛，碰到這家很有意思的高檔超市Eataly，全美國只有紐約、波士頓和芝加哥有唷(L.A.也快有了)。

Bumped into the lovely and character supermarket, Eataly, only available in New York, Boston and Chicago(coming soon in L. A. as well).

生鮮蔬果的擺法和Whole Foods Market有些相像，彷彿佈置靜物寫生場景。

The display method of produce is similar to Whole Food Markets’; scene for sketch.

第一次看到連著藤的葡萄乾耶。

Raisins on the vine! Never seen before.

店名叫Eataly，顧名思義主打義大利，橄欖油和巴薩米克醋有完整的一區，這樣大約只是三分之一的貨品。

As its name implies, Eataly->Italy, there is an independent zone for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The picture only shows one third of products.

Cheese和火腿也是超豪邁的展示著。

Cheese and ham were  generously displayed as well.

更酷的是附設面積很廣的用餐區(有素食)，餐酒的多樣根本不輸給一般餐廳了。

They even operate a huge dining area! The variety of wine looked like a restaurant!

號稱當天現捕獲的野生小卷，就它了，另搭配粉紅酒一杯。

Fried fresh wild squid with orange salad, and a glass of pink wine.

熟度剛剛好，很嫩。

Cooked very well and tender.

超市裡也要付小費的！

The tip is needed!

除了賣食材，也賣餐具和食譜。

Besides ingredients, they sell tableware and cookbook as well.

營業到晚上十一點，過晚餐時間肚子餓或不想早睡都可以來逛逛。

Come here if you are hungry after dinner time, or don’t  want to sleep early. It opens until 11:00 pm.

路癡到達法：Eataly在紐約有兩家分店，我到的這家是NYC Flatiron。因為住附近所以用走的來(這趟美國食遊記好像目前為止都這個台詞)，想來玩的請靠Google導航吧。同一棟一樓有樂高，對面有很大間的Home Depot滿好找的。

Get there as a no-brainer: I visited NYC Flatiron branch and walked here because I stayed in a hotel nearby(again?). Ask your Google Map; it’s easy to find beside a LEGO shop and across from a very large Home Depot.
