這家什麼都好，除了地點！
Everything was great here except location!
因為兩年前入住帝國飯店東京的印象太完美，這次要在大阪住一晚，想都沒想就下訂。
I chose here immediately for a stay in Osaka because my memory in Imperial Hotel Tokyo was just perfect.
房型被升級為本館高級單床房。
Upgraded to Regular Floor Superior Room, double bed.
因為我是會員，飯店事先知道我的生日，不知一般房客是否也會被招待點心。
I was not sure whether the sweets were served to all guests or birthday members only.
一人獨享四十平米的寬敞空間，最後一晚整理行李特別方便。
A 40 square-metered room just for me; easy to pack my luggage as the last stay of the journey.
沐浴用品同樣是資生堂代工。
Amenities were manufactured by Shiseido, same to Tokyo’s.
這次我沒請他們幫忙訂餐廳，本來計畫進房安頓好行李到館內餐廳吃鐵板燒(沒事先訂位)，結果在梅田逛街逛太晚，check-in時離最後點餐只剩五分鐘。
職員遞上一張地圖：「您還沒吃晚飯吧？步行十分鐘可到天神橋商店街，那裡有很多餐廳，這些是我們推薦的…」
很週到是不是，而且櫃台職員竟然記得我姓什麼，這可不是鄉下小旅館或民宿，我也不是住總統套房的貴客啊。
I wanted to have dinner in their Teppanyaki restaurant. But pity that I arrived only 5 minutes before last order.
The concierge passed me a map: You didn’t have your dinner, do you? Take about 10 minute walk to Tenjinbashi, a lot of restaurants there, and here are our recommendation…
Warm and helpful, weren’t they? Furthermore, a staff remembered my last name. This is not a small hotel, and I am not a VIP.
早上起床剛好趕上日出，然後睡了個回籠覺，竟做惡夢夢到一路睡到下午，沒趕上冰川清志的餐廳秀！
Just in time for sunset. But then I dreamed that I missed Hikawa Kiyoshi’s dinner show when crawled back in bed!
飯店濱河而建，河邊普通到不行的綠樹可是櫻花樹來著，來對季節在房裡就能賞櫻了。
The hotel is located beside the river, and the ordinary green trees are cherry blossoms. Come in the right season and you can watch the beautiful flowers in your room!
夜景也很美，但是玻璃反光一直拍不好，請自己來欣賞囉。
到大阪城公園不過環狀線兩站的距離。
Only two stations from Osaka Castle.
真是金碧輝煌。
我還去了一趟心齋橋，坐電車也不遠。我在心齋橋有段小小的回憶，特地回來打個卡。
Shinsaibashi was not far, either, by subway. I had a sweet memory here several years ago.
所以為什麼說這裡地點不好呢？雖然它離JR站不遠，但車站和旅館分別在河的兩邊，有橋，橋上有人行道，但上下橋要走樓梯，帶著大行李或夜間都很不便。附近別說和熱鬧沾不上邊，清幽、僻靜才是適合它的形容詞，想吃宵夜又不想走太遠的話，只有7-11，這完全不像不夜城大阪啊。
Though a JR station is nearby, you have to walk across the bridge on the river then downstairs, inconvenient with a large suitcase or at night. In addition, it is out of the way and quiet nearby and having nothing to do with “sleepless Osaka”!
然後當晚我的確走了十餘分鐘到天神橋覓食，那裡有許多食肆營業到很晚，沿途是住宅區，幾乎沒有商店的燈光，倒是有好幾間佛寺，和(可能是佛寺管理的)墓園！
Then I did walk to Tenjinbashi. A lot of residence on the way, and several temples as well as… cemetery．
路癡到達法：最近的電車站是JR環狀線桜ノ宮駅，出站往河的方向走，就看得到旅館了。
Get there as a no-brainer: JR Sakuranomiya is the nearest station. Walk to the riverside and you’ll see the hotel.
或是每日早上八點至晚上九點五十分從JR大阪駅搭乘飯店接駁車，從桜橋改札口走到高架橋下，各家飯店的接駁車都在這，沒有豎立特別的指示牌，熱心警衛會主動問你到哪一家飯店，指引你在正確位置候車。
Or take the free shuttle bus at 8:00~21:50 from JR Osaka Station. Direction and time table here
There is no signboard, and a guard will help you.

離開時我因為行李很多，直接搭計程車到JR天王寺駅，車資約兩千日圓。
To JR Tennoji Station by taxi cost you about 2000 yens.
